Coug Store
We have partnered with Amazon, eBay, and Football Fanatics to bring you their entire catalog of WSU gear that you can shop for directly from thecougs.com website. We are still adding more stores so check back often.
Video
We are in the middle of building a custom video player that will be embedded on the site and will not only deliver Washington State videos from all over the web, but you can also search for just about anything and send it to other people on and off the site with a simple click of a button.
Journal
Do you have a great story about WSU or a memory you want to share with fellow Cougs or maybe just a rant about UW? Well, the Journal section is built so you can easily add your own thoughts to the listing and also provide a personalized URL that you can send out so people can keep up with all of your postings. We want to hear from you
Calendar
Our calendar should help keep you up to date on all the events being put on by WSU whether that is on campus or in your area. If tickets are being sold then you can simply click a button and buy them directly through thecougs.com website. In the coming weeks you will be able to filter events that we will update daily from just about every event all over the country that has to do with Washington State University. If you want to get events on the calendar please contact me and I will help you out.
Classifieds
It seems like a really simple thing and right now it looks even more basic as it is currently, but on the back end is a really great platform that will deliver classified ads from all over the net that you can sort by category, location, price, with or without photo, etc. The look will be changing dramatically over time, but I was able to do a search for cookies (don't ask) within 25 miles of my home and found about 10 listings. I think cookies with Mrs. Claus is a little late in the year, but it is nice to know she is there. Again, all of this can be done within thecougs.com and your profile.
Games
I have personally been doing a great deal of "research" on what are the most fun and addicting games we can add to the site and the games catalog. I warn you that Fast Food Fiasco will take over your life, at least it did for me.
We apologize if you run into any bugs. We are doing everything possible to catch them while building out the site, but some things just like to break on their own. Again, let us know if you see anything.
With that off my chest I want to encourage anyone who is part of a WSU organization/group to sign up and post links to your profile, announcements or anything of the sort you want. We are doing all of this through word of mouth at this point and are relying on the Coug network to build momentum. There will be a great deal of changes over the next few weeks, so please contact me on the site with feedback. We can also post things for you if you run into trouble. That is all for now. Go Cougs!
